FAQ
Short answers to common questions.
Licenses
Where do I get my license key?
Open 1kscanner.com/settings, sign in, then copy your license key.
How many devices can I use?
1K Scanner is a 1‑seat license: one device at a time. If you activate on a new machine, it replaces the previous device.
Do I need the internet?
Yes. The app needs internet for license verification and market data. Offline usage is not supported.
Data & exchanges
Which exchanges are supported?
The app includes built‑in clients for: Binance (Spot/Futures), Bybit (Spot/Futures), OKX (Spot/Futures), Bitget (Spot/Futures), Gate.io (Spot/Futures), MEXC (Spot/Futures), Coinbase (Spot), Upbit (Spot/KRW).
Why are some charts empty?
Usually one of these:
- The symbol is not available on that exchange.
- The selected timeframe is not supported for that exchange/symbol.
- The exchange is temporarily limiting requests (rate‑limit).
Features
What is the “Consensus” badge?
It’s a summary signal that combines short/mid/long timeframes into a single direction (Long/Short/Neutral) plus a strength score. It helps you compare many charts quickly.
What are Templates?
Templates automatically build a full layout (many tabs at once), like a market‑cap list or by‑sector tabs.
You can open Templates with Ctrl/Cmd + T.
Can I save my workspace?
Yes. Use the app’s Save/Load flow to store a layout file. The app restores your last default layout on next launch.
