Quick Start

Download → install → activate → start scanning (5–10 minutes).

Before you start

  • Internet connection is required (license verification + market data).
  • You will need your license key from the web Settings page.

Step 1) Download

Go to /download and choose your operating system.

Step 2) Install & first launch

macOS

  1. Open the DMG and move the app to Applications.
  2. On first launch, right‑click the app → Open, then confirm.
  3. If macOS blocks it: System Settings → Privacy & Security → click Open Anyway.
  4. If it still fails (rare), run:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/1K_Scanner.app

Windows

  • If SmartScreen appears: More info → Run anyway.

Linux

  • Make the downloaded file executable (if needed) and run it.

Step 3) Get your license key

  1. Open 1kscanner.com/settings in your browser.
  2. Sign in.
  3. Copy your license key.

Step 4) Activate in the app

  1. Launch 1K Scanner.
  2. Paste the license key into the activation window.
  3. Click Activate.

1K Scanner is a 1‑seat app: one license is used on one device at a time. If you activate on a new machine, it replaces the previous device.

Step 5) Your first scan (basic controls)

  • Enter: focus the top search bar.
  • Space: zoom into the selected chart (single‑chart mode).
  • X: toggle crosshair.
  • G: open the selected symbol on TradingView.
  • Ctrl/Cmd + T: open Templates (generate layouts).
  • Ctrl/Cmd + I: open Indicators.
  • Ctrl/Cmd + S: open Settings (then Save/Load layouts).

Step 6) Save your layout

Use the app’s Save / Load flow to store your layout. The app restores your last saved default layout on next launch.
