1. Terms of Service

1.1 Overview

1K Scanner (“the Service”) is desktop chart review software for Crypto and U.S. stock charts. Free, Core, and Pro provide access according to the plan on your account. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1.2 License and Access

  • We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service while your account has valid Free, Core, or Pro access.
  • You may not share your account, sublicense, redistribute, copy, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

1.3 User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Avoid actions that may disrupt or abuse the Service.

1.4 Service Modifications

We may update features, modify the Service, or change subscription pricing. Any material changes will be communicated in advance when required.

1.5 Disclaimer

  • The Service provides charting and analytical tools only and does not offer financial, investment, or trading advice.
  • We are not liable for trading decisions, losses, or outcomes based on your use of the Service.
  • The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

1.6 Account Termination

  • Core and Pro are monthly subscriptions.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Paddle customer portal.
  • Access remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts involved in misuse, fraud, or terms violations.

1.7 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, unless otherwise required by local consumer laws.

2. Privacy Policy

2.1 Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data required to operate and improve the Service:

  • Personal data (identifiable): Email address; subscription and billing data processed by Paddle; IP address used for security and fraud prevention.
  • Usage data (non-identifiable / anonymous): Device information (browser, OS); feature usage metrics; error logs and analytics events (anonymized).

2.2 How We Use This Information

  • Process payments and manage subscriptions (via Paddle).
  • Provide authentication and customer support.
  • Improve product performance and reliability.
  • Prevent fraud or abuse.

2.3 Third-Party Sharing

We share data only with trusted partners required to operate the Service:

  • Paddle, our payment merchant of record.
  • Authentication, analytics, and infrastructure providers.

We do not sell or share data with advertisers.

2.4 Data Retention

We retain data only for legally required periods or for operational purposes. When no longer needed, data is securely deleted.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 Plans and Billing

Free does not require payment. Core and Pro are paid monthly plans for the same Crypto and U.S. stock chart review software. Paddle shows applicable taxes and the final checkout total before you confirm payment.

3.2 Refund Requests

You may contact us to request a refund. We review each request based on its circumstances, the transaction status, applicable law, and the available Paddle process. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval or a completion time.

Reasons for a request may include:

  • Service malfunction or failure to access core features.
  • Duplicate or unauthorized charges.
  • Accidental purchase.

Refunds are submitted and processed through Paddle when available.

3.3 Refund Outcomes

If a full refund is approved, paid access for that subscription ends and the account returns to Free. A partial refund does not automatically change your plan while the subscription remains active.

3.4 Subscription Renewals

Core and Pro renew monthly unless cancelled. After cancellation, access remains active until the end of the current billing period, and no later renewal charge will be made for that subscription.
